Le Dôme de Biot
Le Dôme de Biot is a vast natural and protected site, characterised by its exceptional flora, fauna, landscape and geology. It is actually the tip of a 30 million year old volcano!
Many locals don’t know about this amazing place. When you enter, you feel like you are in a new region, and when you reach the top of the dome, you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° view of the French Riviera with its sea, mountains, forests, etc

Le Parc Naturel Départemental du Massif du Paradou
This 20 hectare parc used to be a orchard producing oranges, roses, eucalyptus and mimosas. In this excursion we will drive through Golfe-Juan, famous village where Napoleon landed after escaping exile in Elba Island.
We will then walk in the parc, enjoying a breathtaking view on the Mediterranean sea, the cap d’Antibes and Sainte Marguerite Island, where the man with the iron mask was imprisoned for 15 years.

Atelier Jeannette Vallauris
Vallauris is a beautiful village in the back country above Golfe-Juan. It is famous world wide for its potters and the quality of their ceramics.
In this excursion we will drive to Vallauris and visit « Atelier Jeannette », a beautiful ceramics workshop. We will meet Laurène Jeannette, workshop owner who will tell us all about her passion and show us around the workshop.
I will translate and record difficult words which we will study upon returning to Antibes.
What is needed : Basic French listening skills.
