Just est pour quelque-chose qui vient de se produire:
- I’ve just finished!
- They’ve just arrived.
- He’s just left.
Already est pour quelque-chose qui s’est déjà produit ou se produit déjà:
- The film has already started.
- We have already seen this movie.
- I have already eaten.
Yet est pour quelque-chose qui ne s’est pas encore produit. On l’utilise à la forme négative ou interrogative:
- The film hasn’t started yet.
- We haven’t finished yet.
- He hasn’t woken up yet.
- Have you finished yet?
- Have you had breakfast yet?
- Have you payed your taxes yet?
